It floats and turns better, skis easier and is smoother thanks to its unique rocker design, called AmpTek. AmpTek features traditional camber with more progressive "rocker" at the tip and tail. So, the S110W delivers more versatility, ease-of-use and forgiveness than conventional skis in all snow conditions. Rossignol offers the ski in sizes 159, 168 and 178cm. Each length is narrower underfoot to improve agility. Unlike any other reverse-camber skis, the smaller sizes of the S110 allow women of all sizes and abilities to ride the most perfect women's powder ski ever made. Amptek: Amptek for Amplification Technology. This technology developed by Rossignol for Freeride skis lets you ski on powder without constraint. Skis with the Amptek profile are more lively, have improved float power on powder and allow you to experience new sensations. How does it work? It\'s quite simple: the ski has a rocker at both front and back which gives more lift and improved turn capability on powder. The ski has traditional construction underfoot, with a camber and 18 m turn radius for easier edge-to-edge transition on hard snow, so providing a lot more versatility. Amptek Technology is available on the entire Rossignol Freeride range so that everyone can choose their program depending on what they want (more powder, more rocker - less powder, less rocker)
- Core and Flex Pattern – Wood core provides ultimate response, feel, power and durability. Core is made from fume treated ash and poplar and is hand milled to the shape of the skis’ profile. Wood used in Rossignol skis is harvested by the factory from sustainable wood, grown in renewable tree farms.
- Construction – The Rossignol S110W Skis feature Rossignol’s unique AmpTek ski design concept that combines traditional and reverse camber to deliver more versatility, rebound, boost and ease-of-use than conventional skis. The traditional camber underfoot delivers power, energy and edge grip under foot where you need it most. The reverse camber at the tip and tail deliver more floatation, easier steering and more forgiveness.
