What should I wear?
Get Boards has no dress code, it's all about your comfort. Some people prefer to wear bathing suits on our kayaks and paddle boards, while others prefer to wear their normal clothes. Wear whatever you will be most comfortable in, just know there is a chance you will get wet! Keep on eye on the daily temperatures before you arrive!

Are the kayaks likely to flip/will I get wet?
We rent ocean kayaks, which are equipped for much rougher waters than you are likely to see in Big Bear Lake. They are very stable and unlikely to flip, unless there are extenuating circumstances. HOWEVER it is likely that your seats/feet will get wet while kayaking. Single and Double kayaks are stable up to 425 pounds.
