 For low-bulk warmth, only 3M® Thinsulate® would do, and Eero prefers the 80-gram weight. It keeps him comfortable while he’s scoping terrain but doesn’t weigh him down when he’s working it. The 20K g/m2/24hrs rating means a square meter of the jacket’s fabric can expel twenty thousand grams of moisture vapor in 24 hours. That’s more sweat than we’d like to contemplate. Even with that much breathability, it still maintains an effective barrier against environmental moisture. The Oakley ENTIRE SNOW PANT comes with a full range of essential features including two-way crotch venting, a no-slip silicone waistband, boot gaiters, and tabs that hold the cuffs up when Eero is finished conquering the backcountry.
