Sean Pettit's Dream Machine

Sean Pettit's pro model returns for its sophomore year of preying on natural airs, attacking deep pow landings, and slithering through first tracks. When the fresh is gone, the Pettitor doesn't mind setting trenches in hardpack, sliding rails, gliding through tree laps, or slaying jump sessions. In other words, the Pettitor will strike you as the most well-rounded powder ski on the market.

Technology

Powder Rocker-This tip has the most elevation and longest measurement of Rocker and offers skiers a “surfy” feel with enhanced soft-snow performance. The camber region still exists to ensure edge-hold on firmer conditions. Simply put, Powder Rocker provides unmatched flotation in deep snow. ROCKER: Easy initiation, versatility, agility CAMBER: Control, edge hold, rebound

Triaxial Braid-The patented Triaxial Braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled core, resulting in great torsional strength while retaining the lively flex patterns inherent in a wood core ski.

Wood Core-K2 uses a variety of wood cores for energy, rebound, and a liveliness only found in wood core skis. Our wood cores consist of a blend of different species of wood based on the desired flex and target performance of the ski.

Bi-Directional Taper-The tip is still wider but closer in width to the tail. This allows the ski to perform exceptionally well while skiing in the forward direction but the taper enables the skier to have similar switch arc for better and more consistent switch riding.

TwinTech Sidewall-Twin Tip specific construction increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis. A traditional sidewall construction produces a 90-degree angle where the top material and sidewall meet. The TwinTech construction rolls the top material into the sidewall, reducing the angle that is prone to abuse, minimizing ski-to-ski impact damage.

Tapered Tip-All Freeride skis come with a new tapered tip design and lower profile to maximize tip predictability. Tips with this design have shifted the widest part of the contact point further back to reduce tip weight and deflection in soft and variable snow conditions.

Skin Grommets-The new freeride tip and tail grommets are a clean, simple design that no longer requires a plug. The durable rubber coating disguises a slit designed to accommodate both the Z clip for our skin attachments, and the components to build a rescue sled.

Swap Base-The bases of these skis can come in two different color ways, depending of how the colors are swapped on the base. This gives two looks to the same ski, and ensures you are not rocking the exact same pair as your buddy who just picked up the same pair of skis.

The wider version of the Shreditor gets you out of the snow and on top of it. Stable at speeds, as well as nimble through trees.
