The Descendant 8 features the all-new Evolution Shell! Full Tilt approached the design of this boot with the goal of incorporating the original DNA of the 3-piece boot while making it more comfortable for those who have a wider footprint. From the ground up, this ski boot is something special. It features a 102mm width, dual material soles for added traction and durability with an upgraded buckle system for easy on & off. With its 8 flex tongue, the boot provides a stiff yet responsive feel for those skiers who prefer a more resistant flex pattern.

Powerwrap-An additional layer of ergonomically shaped High Density Intuition® closed cell foam is wrapped around the outside of the upper liner to increase energy transfer and horsepower to the shell.
I can't decide between this one and the Descendant 8. Both feel awesome on my wide foot. I've been dreaming of skiing in FT and couldn't until this boot was made. Stiffer or softer. 6 or 8? Buy the 6 and get the stiffer tongue for $50? Stoked for winter!!!
