Named for a thorny tree that has punctured plenty of traditional sandals, the Kiawe features a protective plate running the length of the sandal to shield your feet from sharp objects that stand between you and those secret spots. Lightweight, quick-drying synthetic straps are built with reinforced stitching, and a compression molded EVA footbed textured with Dakine Surf Traction delivers additional grip when moisture from surf or sweat comes between sole and sandal.
