Looking at a chilly day out there today under partly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 30s, west to northwest winds 10-15 mph. Continued cool and breezy Sunday and Monday with highs in the lower 40s, as overnight lows drop into the upper teens and 20s, northeast winds 5-15 mph at times, good snowmaking weather for resorts! Expect seasonal weather through early next week, ahead of another storm around New Year’s. If traveling into the mountains through this weekend or anytime during the holidays, be prepared for winter weather driving conditions, holiday traffic, pack extra supplies, and always carry chains! Clearing skies Saturday evening should make for great viewing of the SpaceX Launch set for 6:08 PM out of Vandenberg. This will vew viewable across all of Southern California & the Western states, look in the western sky and up, can’t miss it. Thats all for the weather report check back soon for more updates! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
