Big Bear Snow Report

Snow & Ski Conditions at Snow Summit & Bear Mountain

Big Bear Snow Report

Snowmaking: OFF

Today's Forecast: April 1, 2026

And just like that, the final chair spins at Bear Mountain… and that’s a wrap on winter.

It wasn’t the snowiest season. The storms were few, and the powder days were hard to come by. But even in a lighter winter, you all still showed up, made the most of every run, and kept the mountain alive.

Now, as the lifts slow down and the snow begins to melt, we’re shifting gears. Same mountain, different kind of adventure. The lake is calling, and we’re getting ready. Kayaks, paddleboards, and e-bikes will be rolling out soon.

So while we’re saying goodbye to winter (for now), we’re not going anywhere. We’ll see you out on the water, cruising the shoreline, and soaking up everything Big Bear has to offer in the summer.

Thanks for sticking it out with us this season. See you soon.

Weekly Weather Summary

Our weather will remain unchanged this week as high pressure over the region leads to warm and dry conditions with temperatures still about 20 degrees above normal. Looking at mostly sunny skies today with highs in the lower to mid-70s, southwest winds 5-15 mph through the afternoon. Clear tonight with light winds as lows drop into the 30s. Mostly sunny and a tad warmer tomorrow as highs reach the mid-70s, winds will remain mostly light & variable. Expect more of the same through midweek with highs in the 70s as lows cool to the 30s. High pressure may finally begin to buckle next weekend, which could allow low pressure to approach the West Coast. A storm system next weekend may pass inland to our south, though another storm could bring us a chance of showers at some point next week, stay tuned!
