Ride Kink Snowboard 2026
The Kink is a street machine. Designed with a focus on predictability and durability for urban and park riding, the KINK is at home on handrails and jibs. The Kink is the board of choice for Jed Anderson and many team riders riding in the street or cruising the rail line on-hill. The Extra Camber profile has camber underfoot for pop and smooth turn initiation with a minimal amount of rocker at the tip for predictable catch-free performance. A Quadratic Sidecut provides predictability and edge hold. Slim Walls and Cleave Edge™ provide a smoother ride and even stronger durability than ever before. The sintered base is harder and more durable. The Kink is a board designed for modern freestyle and street performance.
Technology
- Extra Camber Profile: More camber!
- Twin Shape: Great for going both directions, same shape on the nose and tail of the board. Great for park riding, going switch, or just looking nice.
- Quadratic Sidecut: Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.
- Slim Walls: RIDE's Slim Wall technology is the evolution of our Roll-in Construction to its extreme limit. By creating a fully 3-D composite structure over Slimewall® material, this revolutionary technology results in more efficient energy transfer, lighter weight construction, and even better damping.
- Double Impact Plates Laminates: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.
- Biaxial Glass Fiberglass: 90° and 0° angles, fun and forgiving.
- Extruded 1500 Base: The industry standard extruded 1500 Ptex base material. Good wax absorption and easy to repair.
- Stone Ground Base: The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop.
- Foundation™ Core: Tip-to-tail Aspen wood core with proven durability that retains pop and flex.
- Cleave Edge™ Steel Edges: Nearly 50% more steel, delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.
- Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax: The Meadowfoam® factory wax Ride uses is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable
- 30% Recycled Steel Edges: Everyone knows about recycling, but nobody thinks about it when it comes to snowboard edges. Hell, do people even think about their snowboard edges? Luckily for you Ride isthinking of both. Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. That means part of your snowboard could be made out of a car, an airplane, a building, who knows. Anything steel and recycled could turn into a snowboard edge
- FSC® Certified Paper Packaging: What does this mean for snowboard packaging? Well how about those stickers on the base that are a pain to peel off? Yup, made with FSC® Certified Materials.
- 44% Solar Production Energy: 44% and rising! Ride is working with its factories to utilize solar energy when producing RIDE products. Ride is currently at using 44% sustainable solar energy, with plans in the works to grow that number in the coming years.
- FSC® Certified Mix Cores: The core of your RIDE snowboard, made out of wood. What does FSC® do? They work with forest managers, business, and consumers to maintain healthy forests forever. That means they work with wood providers to make sure everything is grown and harvested in a sustainable fashion. Which means you can feel better about that piece of wood under your feet.
- RIDE Snowboard Technology: Engineered by snowboarders, for the most demanding riders on the planet. With over 30 years of experience in building high-quality products.
