The Bataleon Tornado x Beyond Medals Snowboard is a high-octane freestyle weapon developed in collaboration with style king Tor Lundström. Blending the power and response of the Goliath with the playful versatility of the Whatever, it’s built for fast, aggressive riding and launching into big features with confidence. Triple Base Technology™ and SideKick™ ensure smooth landings and precise control, even at high speeds. This board is all about charging hard and looking good doing it.

Rocker Type

Medium Camber – Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better.

Shape

3BT™ Triple Base Technology™ – Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.

SideKick™ – SideKick™ enhances the Triple Base concept by increasing the sidebase uplift just beyond the widest points of the nose and tail. This gives the tips a hull-like shape, improving float in deep snow and effortlessly cutting through crud. It also enables the board to roll smoothly and quickly from edge to edge.

Core

Ultra Light Core – A 70/30 Paulownia and poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.

Laminates

Tri-Ax Laminate – Bataleon's three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. It is used to beef up the flex pattern on more aggressive boards.

Carbon Stringers – Carbon is incredibly lightweight and delivers explosive pop, quick edge response, and exceptional dampening at high speeds. By incorporating carbon fiber stringers into the board’s construction, we can fine-tune the flex and elevate your ride to the next level. We strategically place carbon stringers in specific areas of the board to fine-tune the feel of each model.

D.R.S.T. Super Tubes – Dual Radial Super Tubes, similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running parallel to the board radius, delivering extra power to the edges.

Sidewalls

Flex Walls – Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride.

Ultra Glide S Base – A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for high-end models. Packing more molecules into the P-tex means it’s super tough and hauls ass.
