2008 K2 Apache Coomba Skis
K2 Apache Coomba. This K2 Ski is a next-generation
powder ski built for adventure. The K2 Coomba was
designed by Doug Coombs himself and it was only fitting
that K2 named the ski after the legend himself. The
Coomba will be one of the most sought after skis on
the market.
4 sizes: 167cm,174cm,181cm,188cm
The K2 Coomba features a new tip shape that is very
predictable and forgiving in variable snow and powder,
combined with a progressive sidecut for turning ease
and power on hard snow.
With a balanced flex the K2 Coomba will be a great
choice for anyone form the most serious alpinist to
aspiring backcountry/heli skiers. The 102mm waist
will give excellent flotation while still having easy
handling in difficult conditions.
A percentage of all K2 Coomba ski sales will be donated
to his wife, Emily, and their 3-year old son, David.
K2 will also donate a portion of the proceeds to the
American Mountain Guide Association's Chad Vanderham
Endowment, which is focused on improving guide education
and safety.
