Don’t go out unless you’re geared up. This is the Oakley WINTER SNOW BACKPACK, and it was engineered for people who don’t push the limit without respecting the outcome. It has a dedicated panel for stowing your emergency equipment, and we added a rescue loop on the waist strap and a whistle on the sternum strap. Your phone or radio stays within easy reach on the shoulder strap, just in case you’re under a ton of snow and decide it might be time to call the guys with the helicopter.

We also built this pack for convenience. Your snowboard or skis go in the handy diagonal holster. Stow your hydration reservoir in the dedicated space and feed the tube through internal routing that helps prevent freezing. Your goggle goes in the soft-brushed interior pocket while your camera rides in the waist strap pocket. It’s all organized and well thought out, and it lets you haul what you need for when that cruel mistress gets her backcountry claws into you.
