After we created a premium jacket for Oakley pro Simon Dumont, we knew we had to engineer a snow pant to match it. The guy is a cross between a superpipe superhero and a freeski action figure, so it was a challenge we couldn’t pass up. Simon wanted an insulated pant that didn’t have the puffed-out bloat of ordinary designs, and he wanted weather protection with breathability that wouldn’t make him stew like a rump roast. That was our starting point. The end result is the Oakley CORKED SKI PANT, and you can see it flying across the sky wherever Simon is earning medals for his action hero thing.

CORKED is rigged with 3M® Thinsulate® for the thermal protection Simon needs without the bulk nobody needs. We crafted a two-way vent at the crotch and added vents at the outer thighs so he can purge heat and tune his temperature. Waterproofing is mandatory but it tends to restrict breathability. Not good enough for Simon. That’s why this pant is made to keep moisture out without restricting the outward flow of moisture vapor.
