Perfect. That’s what the Freeskier ski test rated the 10/11 ARW. We say perfection is unattainable, but it’s the only thing we consider worth striving for. We added AR50 construction to decrease swing-weight and improve durability; our athletes have already given the 11/12 ARW a rating of 21 out of 20 for the park and pipe.

2.5 Edge
This edge has an oversized height and width and the steel is heat-treated to a proprietary hardness which helps resist breaking and tearing out from rails, ledges and any other abuse it might meet.
Laminate Matrix
We know from the core out exactly how each ski should react, so three kinds of fiberglass laminates are used in combination to deliver the exact amount of flex and torsional rigidity. Bi-axial fiberglass runs in an “x” pattern down the ski to control lateral flex. Uni-directional fiberglass controls flex along the length of the ski. And tri-axial fiberglass, with fibers running in three directions, beefs up the center of the ski. The permutations of the three fiberglasses are nearly limitless and allow us to precision tune the performance of every ski we make.
S7 Base
Improved for 11/12, the new S7 features a gliding additive for increased speed and longevity. Our toughest base, find the S7 on any ski that’s looking for rails, ledges, and boxes as much as snow.
Positive Camber
Traditional camber engages the tip and tail of the ski, enhancing ease of entry and exit into and out of a turn, while maintaining solid edge hold.
Hybrid Double Zone Core
Two high density wood stringers sit along ultralight wood creating a light core with pop and solid edge hold, while keeping swing and overall weight down
AR50 Sidewall
ABS sidewall meets cap construction – the best of both worlds. This engineering method combines the lightweight cap construction in the tip and tail with ABS sidewall underfoot, resulting in enhanced edgehold and significantly lower swing and overall weight.
