Arbor Foundation Snowboard 2019

The Arbor Foundation will help you lay down the foundations of your snowboarding, without breaking down your bank account. The parabolic Rocker System allows easy transition in and out of turns while still staying responsive, and the softer flex is super fun to press and play all throughout the resort. Built with high quality materials and construction that Arbor is known for, the Foundation mountain twin snowboard is a forgiving, progression-focused ride that help you pick up skills instead of putting you down.

Features

Board Type: All Mountain

Camber Type: The Rocker System

The Rocker System from Arbor is a parabolic take on reverse camber that progressively reduces the amount of rocker towards the tip and tail. This results in your contact points being closer to the snow, allowing them to engage quicker and more effectively for enhanced response and stronger edge control, while still maintaining the natural float and surfy ride of rocker.

Flex: 3/10 (1 = soft, 10 = stiff)

A soft, playful flex for easy turns and fun all over the mountain.

Shape: Mountain Twin

This board is a twin but has a directional shaped nose and tail, so it can ride switch with no problems but will provide better float going forwards.

Spoonhead Tip - A shape designed for all-mountain functionality.

Core: Single Malt Core

The Single Malt Core is a full wood core, made from 100% sustainably grown Poplar for highly reliable performance and long lasting durability.

Base: Extruded Base

A tough base that offers lightweight performance and is easy to maintain.

Additional Features:

Power Ply Topsheet - This creates the style Arbor is known for, but isn't just for looks. Power Ply is a sustainably sourced layer of wood or bamboo that acts like an added layer of fibreglass due to a labor intensive process that results in increased performance, finish quality, board life, and less reliance on man made materials.

Biax Glassing - A full Biax layup that's designed to be softer flexing and more forgiving for freestyle inspired all-mountain riding.

Grip Tech - Grip Tech is a combination of three separate sidecut radii in the nose, tail, and centre of the board, effectively giving the board an additional two contact points. This provides extra grip and control in all conditions, and also makes turning smoother, easier, and less catchy, without losing performance.
