The Strata is a 100% new model to the Union lineup. Featuring the Stage 6 Direct Injected base, the Strata incorporates an "industry first" Fused Vaperlite Bushing System that sets new standards for how a snowboard binding should function and perform. • Fused Vaporlite: Utilizing an injection moulding process very similar to the way plastic parts are created, Fused Vaporlite is a new material that is more waterproof, durable and precise than any other EVA material on the market today.
• Forma Ankle Strap: New and improved, the design of the Forma Ankle Strap produces strength and rapid response on the outside, fit and pillowed comfort on the inside.
• Stage VI Direct Inject Duraflex ST Baseplate – Duraflex material was specifically engineered to maintain consistent flex in a wide range of cold temperatures. Union has exclusive rights on this brand of nylon, so you wont find it anywhere else.
