POC Junior Skin GS Ski Racing Suit 2026

Built for speed, the Skin GS Jr gives young racers comfort, performance and protection so they can reach their very best.

Created to give junior ski racers the cutting edge when it really matters, the Skin GS Jr speed suit is shaped to give comfort and support while holding the race tuck. Constructed from a highly durable fabric designed to withstand damage caused by fastenings in forearm and shin protectors, the suit provides support and protection for every junior racer.

The suit uses the same material as in the FIS-approved Skin GS suit for adults, and features lightweight padding built into the arms, hips and legs to give extra comfort underneath external hard protectors

While giving a tight race fit, the suit is flexible enough for a back protector and a protective base layer to be worn underneath, further enhancing laceration protection.

Grippers at the lower leg openings and longer sleeves with thumbholes work to keep the suit in place as the body moves.

Product benefits:

  1. Highly durable fabric

CARE INSTRUCTIONS APPAREL DWR:

  • After a ride, air your kit so it can dry properly. This helps to minimise bad smells and prevent mold growth.
  • If your clothes are not too dirty, air them rather than wash them: it’ll help extend the life of your garment.
  • Spot clean individual stains rather than washing the whole garment. Reducing the number of washes increases the life of the garment and saves energy.
  • If bad smells persist after a wash, your garment can be soaked in a solution of 20ml spirit vinegar/1L water for a few hours or overnight before a standard wash. Such treatment may make your garment slightly lighter in color, so test in a small area first.
  • Your POC garments can be washed safely with other items, so wash them as part of a full load with similar colors.
  • Wash your garments at the temperature stated on the label. Lightly soiled garments can be washed on lower temperatures.
  • Your garments won’t be any cleaner if you use more than the recommended amount of detergent.
  • Avoid using fabric conditioner when washing any POC apparel: it will damage the functional properties of your garments (e.g. moisture wicking capabilities, waterproofness etc)
  • Close all zips before washing
  • Any garment with a print should be washed inside-out.
  • Use a laundry bag when washing synthetic garments to help extend the life of your garments.
  • To free a stuck zip, rub a small amount of bar soap around the puller and gently pull loose.
  • Tumble-dry DWR-treated garments for 15–20 minutes on a low/medium heat to re-activate the treatment after a wash. If it’s not possible to tumble dry, you can reactivate the treatment by ironing the garment on a low heat, placing a damp cloth between the garment and the iron.
  • Hang dry until completely dry after re-activating the DWR treatment.
  • POC uses almost exclusively PFC-free DWR treatments. While not as long-lasting as fluorocarbon-based treatments, it is possible to re-treat your garments to retain their water repellence. Treat only clean and dry garments, and use a DWR treatment suitable for breathable garments.
