Tanner (or Schubert) was right about a few things. One: Riding down the mountain bare-asses can be liberating. Two: Don't go changin'! That doesn't just apply to your favorite mountain. It also applies to the Machete. Why change something that has proven year after year to be an all-mountain freestyle deck with something for every rider? The Machete's twin shape features rocker to lift the tip and tail out of the snow for floatation as well as easy turn initiation and a catch-free feel at the contact points. The board profile gently transitions into a flat zone underfoot for stability and consistent tracking when you are cruising groomers. Strength is added and vibration is absorbed by our proprietary Slimewall technology, while Carbon Slimerods add that pop and rebound you are looking for when you're lapping the park. With a long history in our line, the Machete has proven itself as an all mountain freestyle board that is a cut above the competition.

• Roll In Slimewalls: Unique 3D fiberglass structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight.
• Carbon Slimerods 1.0: RIDE's Carbon Slimerods® give already fun and playful boards the added liveliness to set them apart from other boards. Using strategic placement in the board's tip and/or tail, this technology adds pop without the stiffness generally associated with snappy boards. Made up of flat carbon rods that wrap around urethane slime-core, Carbon Slimerods® have carbon for massive pop and a slime-core to smooth out the landing. Available in two levels - 1.0 & 2.0.
• Carbon Array 3 Laminates: This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in two levels of technology, 3 & 5.
• Biaxial Glass: 90° and 0° angles, fun and forgiving.
• Performance Core: High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
• Sintered Base: High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.
• Cleave Edge Steel: Nearly 50% more steel, delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.
• Impact Plates: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strenth and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels - single and double.
