A lighter weight cousin of the Duke EPF, the Marker Baron EPF Ski Bindings now feature the same 10 mm wider frame for increased power transmission with wider skis. The Marker Baron EPF Bindings are light, nimble and made for the backcountry, big-mountain skier who demands performance. Equipped with an Extended Power Frame, you'll have improved and amazing power transmission. The Gliding AFD Plate, (Anti-Friction Device) and Inter Pivot Heel are there to ensure release that isn't compromised by dirt, snow or ice and will deliver a great hold even when freeskiing. A Triple Pivot Elite Toe absorbs the energy and reduces the risk of early release. With its Backcountry Technology you can take these hiking and easily switch the degree positions to best provide a safe and secure transition. By utilizing your poles you can change these positions to make for a very comfortable hike.  All Marker bindings are equipped with a moveable AFD (anti friction device), allowing a precise release, unhindered by dirt, snow and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality – from racing to junior bindings and even ski touring.

With a horizontally oriented spring, the Triple Pivot Elite Toe provides the highest energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release.
