The Rossignol Scratch Sprayer BC skis
- have a similiar attitude to its big brother, the Scratch
BC, but at a great price. Great skis for backcountry
kickers and big pow. These twin tip backcountry skis
are not as wide as the Scratch BC and does not have
the THC core or the R7200 Graphite base of Rossignol
Scratch BC twin tip skis. The Rossignol (RCE) Rocking
Chair Effect is found on all Scratch model skis. All
these models have softer flexing tips and tails and
a stiffer mid-section. This allows the skier to load
the tips or tails to spring up on a rail or boost out
of a half pipe. This is also known as the "ollie" effect.
The 30 degree slanting sidewalls are angled to improve
swing weight, reduce the overall weight of the ski and
enhance edging.
