The Rossignol Scratch FS twin tip park skis are new
and improved for the 2006 ski season. Built on a wider
profile the new Scratch FS is even easier to stomp your
tricks in the park. This twin tip ski has been designed
by the Rossignol factory team and was voted their park
and pipe pro model ski. The Rossignol Scratch FS twin
tip Skis contain THC(Triple Hybrid Cor), RCE (Rocking
Chair Effect), and 30 degree slanting sidewalls. The
Rossignol Skis (THC) Triple Hybrid Core is made from
three different materials. The first is isocore for
liveliness and snap. The second is wood for response
and ski/snow "feel". The last is microcell for shock
absorption. The Rossignol Skis (RCE) Rocking Chair Effect
is found on all Scratch model skis. All these models
have softer flexing tips and tails and a stiffer mid-section.
This allows the skier to load the tips or tails to spring
up on a rail or boost out of a half pipe. This is also
known as the "ollie" effect. The 30 degree slanting
sidewalls are angled to improve swing weight, reduce
the overall weight of the ski and enhance edging.
