'07 K2 Pontoon Big Mountain McConkey Powder Skis

A totally new ski to the K2 line, the Pontoon is the brain child of freeride legend Shane McConkey. As the name implies, this ski is designed for flotation, but it is the innovative design that challenges the conventional thinking behind ski engineering making it the ultimate powder tool. With a surf inspired rocker built into the ski giving it a bowed up tip and tail, the ski rises to the surface in any condition while the pilot maintains a centered balance on the ski for maximum control. The shape of the ski is innovative too as it tapers down from tip to tail. A massive tip width of 160 combined with an equally impressive waist width of 130 ensures the tip will stay above the surface at all times. Although designed specifically for powder this incorporates sidecut into the design where you need it most, right under the foot, for maneuverability on firmaer conditions or just to get back to the lifts for a second lap. The Salomon 110mm-130mm brake will fit on the Big Mountain skis such as the K2 Pontoon, and Line Prophet.
Some guys dont even use them!

BINDINGS
Check out the bindings. For liability reasons, skis do not have bindings mounted on them. To have your bindings mounted, you must take them to a authorized ski shop or sporting goods retailer.
