This model displays the true meaning of metal meets
plastic. The baseplate is a combination of super tough
engineered plastic injected TPR (thermo poly rubber)
and 6061 aircraft aluminum. The metal skeleton is integrated
with a plastic and TPR toe-heel ramp suspension system.
The ramp system coupled with a 4mm aluminum disc that
is stiffer than a totally plastic baseplate offering
extra comfort and no foot fatigue. Attached to the aluminum
base is a nylon plastic sidewall, a small screwdriver
or a lift ticket wicket can remove a snap cover that
hides the heel cup carriage bolt locknuts. Telescopic
anatomical cordura straps. 4-tooth quick release ratchets,
rotate-able highback with on-hill forward lean adjustment,
simplified heelcup adjustment system and a sleek design
give this binding much shelf appeal.
The existing Dominator baseplate from last year has
been brought back to create an economical all metal
binding. This model features the Comfort King Straps,
3 tooth metal ratchets, the dominator highback with
die cut highback pad, and a 4mm metal disc. This is
perfect entry level binding.
