Rossignol's S7 floats and turns better, and skis easier thanks to its unique design, called Amptek. Professional big mountain skiers and once struggling intermediates agree, the S7 is revolutionary in its ability to make powder skiing easier, more fun and more dynamic.

AmpTek combines traditional and reverse camber to deliver more versatility, rebound, boost and ease-of-use than conventional skis. The traditional camber underfoot delivers power, energy and edge grip under foot where you need it most. The reverse camber "rocker" at the tip and tail delivers more flotation, easier steering and more forgiveness. The sidecut of the ski uses Rossignol's Reverse sidecut technology, a spatula tip and pin tail with regular sidecut directly under the foot. Combining Amptek and Reverse Sidecut Technologies; Rossignol has created the perfect powder tool for any skier who have a fetish for skiing the deep. The 195cm or, as riders call it,"The Super 7", has a wider waist (117mm) and metal laminates in the construction. Graphic Inspired by Caia Koopman.

Amptek

The concept is simple, reverse the camber of the board/ski to make it easier to turn, more nimble in the
powder, land smoother and ollie higher.

AMPTEK

AMPTEK
Amptek: Amptek for Amplification Technology. This technology developed by Rossignol for Freeride skis lets you ski on powder without constraint. Skis with the Amptek profile are more lively, have improved float power on powder and allow you to experience new sensations. How does it work? It\'s quite simple: the ski has a rocker at both front and back which gives more lift and improved turn capability on powder. The ski has traditional construction underfoot, with a camber and 18 m turn radius for easier edge-to-edge transition on hard snow, so providing a lot more versatility. Amptek Technology is available on the entire Rossignol Freeride range so that everyone can choose their program depending on what they want (more powder, more rocker - less powder, less rocker)
