Clouds and winds will increase this morning as another storm approaches the area with more rain and snow expected. Cooler and windy today with a high near 50°, showers developing during the afternoon. Southwest winds 20-30 mph with gusts near 45 mph possible. Low pressure will move into the region this afternoon through Sunday as a couple of disturbances pass through our area. The snow level will start out above 7,000 feet but could drop to around 5,000 feet by Sunday. Highs will cool to the 40's tomorrow with westerly winds gusting to around 35 mph at times. Total rainfall amounts of around a quarter inch are possible with a few inches of snow. Showers will taper off Sunday night with fair and warmer weather returning Monday. Conditions look pleasant throughout next week with above-normal temperatures and dry weather ahead. When traveling to the mountains, always be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions and carry tire chains.
