The 2018 Nordica Navigator 80 skis are designed to make skiing truly accessible. Channeling the fun at the heart of our legendary Enforcer skis into a design with a narrower waist, the Navigator 80 is the most progressive ski we offer. Its unique Hex Bridge construction pairs a full wood core with a matrix of metal to create a ski that’s especially light and easy to maneuver in all terrain. This construction also provides exceptional edge hold and response while reducing vibrations for a smooth and predictable ride. Its classic, squared-off tail shape further enhances edge hold and makes it even easier to transition between turns while its early rise tip offers versatility in soft snow and readily absorbs bumps. By inspiring confidence and making it is easier to ski, the Navigator 80 keeps you smiling.

Features

Full Sidewall:  An ABS Sidewall runs the length of the ski and is the “bread” if you will in this sandwich construction.

Titanium Hex Bridge:  The Torsion Hex Bridge (Honey-Comb Milled Metal Laminate) gives the skis full metal laminate feel but without all the added weight. Enough metal for the ex-racers and a low enough weight to consider throwing an AT binding on it. Also helps to dampen pesky vibrations and snow chatter.

All-Mountain CamRock:  Tip early rise provides the skis with better float in powder, as well as effortless turn initiation regardless of snow condition.

Early Taper:  The skis widest points are tapered earlier to provide a more predicable tip in soft snow and make the tails more 'smeary' in off-trail situations.

Prepreg Carbon:  Carbon laminates give life to the already lively i-Core.

ABS Sidewalls:  Better grip in harder snow/ice conditions.
