The Seth Morrison Pro Model. Enough Said.

Seth Morrison continues to push big mountain skiing with this pow-slaying, hard-charging fall line machine. A new tip profile initiates more predictability in erratic snow and the tail rocker/kick-tail releases easily in narrow, concave chutes. This freeride ski has a new design that is built specifically to meet Seth's demands for stability and control while flashing the most technical lines. Speed is your friend.

Technology

Powder Rocker-This tip has the most elevation and longest measurement of Rocker and offers skiers a “surfy” feel with enhanced soft-snow performance. The camber region still exists to ensure edge-hold on firmer conditions. Simply put, Powder Rocker provides unmatched flotation in deep snow. ROCKER: Easy initiation, versatility, agility  CAMBER: Control, edge hold, rebound

Triaxial Braid-The patented Triaxial Braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled core, resulting in great torsional strength while retaining the lively flex patterns inherent in a wood core ski.

Wood Core-K2 uses a variety of wood cores for energy, rebound, and a liveliness only found in wood core skis. Our wood cores consist of a blend of different species of wood based on the desired flex and target performance of the ski.

Directional Taper-Moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the skis performance in the forward direction. This means the ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch.

Skin Grommets-The new freeride tip and tail grommets are a clean, simple design that no longer requires a plug. The durable rubber coating disguises a slit designed to accommodate both the Z clip for our skin attachments, and the components to build a rescue sled

Powder Tip-Designed to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc and transition into the sidecut of the ski.

Progressive Sidecut-Progressive sidecut is a combination of two different radii, or sidecuts, that enhance the versatility of wider-waist skis. Standard sidecut theory is based on using a single radius. This works well on narrower skis, but becomes overpowering on wider skis, especially in variable conditions. The use of progressive sidecut on wider-waist skis guarantees improved turn initiation and hard-snow performance.

Hybritech Sidewall-Hybritech is a unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions. The construction combines the accuracy, power, and performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction.

Construction- Triaxial Braid, Hybritech Sidewall, Fir/Aspen/Maple Core

    Seths Ski

I like the amount of rocker in this ski, and the longer nose really adds stability in chop. The mellow side cut makes the ski surfy instead of carvy.
