2x30mm Carbon Fiber Beams: TITANAL is a high strength hardened aluminum wrought alloy with excellent compression strength to weight ratios. A perfect top core structural reinforcement, these 20 mm TITANAL STRUTS resist longitudinal compression contributing more power to these popular, easy to ride models.

POWERSHIFT RFC DUAL CORE™: The POWERSHIFT RFC DUAL CORE™ was built for next level performance. It is lightweight, and with no irregularities or finger joints, its uniform flex provides an incredibly smooth ride. This dual species core is constructed with the highest quality Poplar and Beech woods enabling the rider to hold a solid edge while carving, eliminating chatter at high speeds, and contributing more power to ollies and landings.
DYNAWEAVE™ FIBERGLASS- The DYNAWEAVE™ configuration features Triaxialfiberglass on the top of the core and Biaxial fiberglass beneath, creating more response while increasing strength and durability. Combine this layup with a specialized resin and one of the many additives we have available and you get a high performing board tailored to meet your style of riding.
NEW! PLANT BASED EVO RESIN: Low temperature requirement, consistent and durable output. This resin system has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw materials. It is plant based that does not compete with primary food sources and is produced with no waste or green house emissions.
NEW! WAX INFUSED ENDURO™ BASE: The wax infused ENDURO™ BASE is a favorite in the CAPiTA collection because of its versatility. This base material strikes a unique and sought after balance between high performance and low maintenance. They are highly wax absorbent and allow longer time periods between waxing sessions. These bases are created by taking pellets of extra-high-molecular-weight Polyethylene and compressing them through heat and pressure. The minuscule spaces left behind absorb wax and allow for extended periods of high speed shredding as the wax wicks to the surface while you ride. This prevents your base from drying out and keeps the surface feeling freshly waxed throughout the day. Properly maintained sintered bases are fast, durable, and are the preferred choice of pro snowboarders worldwide.

Sublimation is an exact science for an inexact process. In sublimation, ink is pushed through a substrate into base material using pressure and heat.
As base material is thicker and more opaque than topsheets, graphics become more vibrant when ink impregnates the material as opposed to other techniques where the ink is applied to one side or the other. Through sublimation, ink sits closer to the sliding surface and this technique excels when full colors are required. Many long nights were spent tinkering with a complex combination of cook-times, pressure and temperature in a highly controlled environment to achieve some of CAPiTA’s signature base graphics.
PLT Topsheet Technology™The PLT™ machine sits in a secret hidden corner of the factory behind two very unassuming, nondescript metal doors. The PLT ™ is so secretive that with the exception of its inventor, Mr. Michi Kollmann, all visitors to the room must be versed in an ever-changing secret handshake. PLT™ technology is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the topsheet to an already pressed snowboard.
This is magical because the rest of the world mashes their topsheets on with glue, heat and pressure during the pressing stage. Doing so causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the topsheet. And because nobody wants to spend their hard earned cash on a bumpy snowboard, many companies slather their tops with a thick toxic lacquer to smooth things out. Not only is that shit HEAVY and can potentially develop unsightly hairline cracks, it’s also really unhealthy for the working environment.
The PLT™ machine produces a featherlight, smooth, high-gloss finish, without all that poisonous deadweight.
